RUBY P2P Outbreak is a computer program which allows you to download various filetypes such as music, videos and pictures from other users' shared collections.
The outstanding feature of RUBY P2P Outbreak is the ability to connect to and search 4 major P2P networks. Yes, 4 networks: Gnutella 2, Gnutella 1, eDonkey 2000 and BitTorrent. The application is built upon the fact that you are not limited to the library of files available on the one network, as this is the case with all other sharing programs to date.
Now with the power of 4 networks the availability of files increases (i.e. number of sources), your speed of downloads will increase as you can download from more users from all four networks and this will also mean you can distribute programs over three networks at the same time, helping to keep P2P alive. The software itself now has a very nicely set-out GUI (Graphics User Interface) basically allowing for easy navigation of its different features, and at the same time looking very good.
RUBY library feature effortlessly organizes all your media files into Applications, Books (for eBooks), Images, Music and Video. It doesn't stop there either! It goes on to organize your files in terms of Artist, Album and Genre (for music) and Music Videos, Films or TV shows (for video).
RUBY Search tab allows you quick access to all search results and you can initiate a new search very easily. Moreover, if you want to narrow down the result list, you can specify which filetype you ar elooking for : Application, Archive, Audio, Book, Collection, Image, Video and many others.
RUBY Transfers shows you in a very easy to read interface all active transfers and their individual status: Pending, Queued , Active, etc. By right clicking an exiting transfer, you can quickly find more sources for the specified file.
The RUBY software itself also consumes very little system resources so it is much easier to multitask and leave it running in the background.
